Micro-pigmentation Camouflage or cosmetic tattooing is the art and science of
cosmetically altering the visual image of skin color and imperfections. The basic
techniques used by micropigmentation camouflage consist of concealment, blending,
and/or corrective color by implanting pigment below the skin. With concealment,
the underlying defect is obscured with blending to diminish the contrast between
normal skin color and the areas of the skin that is being worked on. A patch test
and consultation is necessary to evaluate the clients needs and exact color match.
